The Institute of Maya Studies of Miami, FL, has recently donated their entire library to BEC. This book donation, which fills three entire columns of our expanding library, is portrayed above. The members of IMS had been accumulating this library for decades, and we at the BEC are grateful that they chose us as the right home for their many volumes.
Beyond books on the ancient and modern Maya, the IMS library includes many books on Central Mexico. Many of the IMS books are rare (including a couple codex facsimiles), signed, or have been owned by famous Mesoamericanists.
